The seventh triennial Association for Women in the Sciences (AWIS) conference, to be held in Wellington from 9th to 11th July 2014, will bring together women scientists, academics, students, teachers, policymakers, communicators and more.
Absolutely Positively Science will provide opportunities for women working or interested in any field of science to develop their skills to benefit both their careers and personal lives, and provide opportunities for them to learn from and network with other women in science.
We anticipate a lively conference, featuring presentations from current and future leaders in their fields. The programme will include keynote speakers, a panel discussion, invited talks and workshops. A new feature of the 2014 conference will be 20/20 Science Snapshot sessions, where each presenter will speak to twenty 20-second slides - fast-paced, on-message, this is science in seven-minute slices!
It's a 10-page pdf including the programme schedule, a map of the venue, and all the information you need to know before you arrive.
Online registration has now closed - for last-minute registration enquiries, please contact the committee.
