First AWIS travel scholarship awarded

AWIS is delighted to have awarded the first of its new travel scholarships to Kesia Kurian, an ex-John Paul College student now studying for a conjoint Bachelors of Engineering and Science at the University of Auckland, and Shulan Qui, a Year 13 student from John Paul College.

This July, New Zealand’s female scientists from the past, present and future will be celebrated as Auckland hosts the ninth triennial Association for Women in the Sciences conference.
