My Story

I moved to NZ from Zimbabwe during high school and re-discovered a fascination for biology. I started working in analytical laboratories from my second year of uni, and still love the lab management aspect of science. I wanted to be a forensic scientist when I graduated, and I spent eight years working at ESR in the forensic labs, which was extremely interesting. Now I work at the university I get to help upcoming young researchers achieve their goals, as well as constantly learning new things, which I find very rewarding.
