AWIS currently has three awards and scholarships available for women in the sciences:

• The Miriam Dell Award for Excellence in Science Mentoring
  • Biannual award to recognise excellence in mentoring of women in science
• The AWIS STEM Award
  • Annual scholarship to support women studying science at tertiary level
• The Gatehouse Travel Award
  • Triannual scholarship to support women in science to attend professional development events.
