The following roles will be elected at the AGM:

National Convenor – main AWIS contact, responsible for leading discussion on AWIS activities and assisting regional convenors

Secretary – secondary AWIS contact, responsible for managing incoming mail and drafting minutes of meetings and discussions

Treasurer – responsible for managing AWIS financial activities and records

Membership Secretary – responsible for managing AWIS’ electronic membership database

Membership publicity – work with the exec to build the membership and add value for existing members

Editor – manage content for AWIS website/social and e-newsletter

Regional Convenor(s) – responsible for organising AWIS activities in specified region:

  • Auckland
  • Waikato
  • Palmerston North
  • Wellington
  • Tasman
  • Christchurch
  • Dunedin

If you can't attend the AGM but are interested in an Exec role, fill in the nomination form and email to before the 24 May. You can nominate yourself for more than one position, and members attending the AGM will be asked to vote if more than one nomination is received for a position.
