Speaker: Lysea Haggie

Lysea recently completed her PhD in bioengineering where she used neural networks to model activity in the brain related to the human motor system. She is currently working at Qrious as an Advisory Consultant in Data and AI, and has previously worked as a high-school maths teacher, engineering outreach coordinator and policy research analyst. Lysea enjoys taking a multi-disciplinary approach in thinking about emerging technologies and system design, and cares about keeping the human impact at the center of what she does.
