Speaker: Professor Rosalind Archer, Griffith University

Rosalind Archer is Dean(Academic) in the Griffith Sciences Group at Griffith University, Queensland, Australia.  Before joining Griffith in late 2021 Rosalind has a long career at the University of Auckland – serving as a Head of Department, Deputy Dean of Engineering, and Director of the Geothermal Institute.   Rosalind has been an advocate for diversity and inclusion in STEM for decades, co-founding the highly successful Women in Engineering network at the University of Auckland, while she was a student.  At Griffith she is a trained and visible ally for the campus LGBTIQ+ community. Rosalind holds a MS and PhD from Stanford University.
