Applications open for New Horizons for Women awards
Applications are open for awards through the New Horizons for Women Trust, including the AWIS STEM Award.
New Horizons for Women Trust: Hine Kahukura is a charitable trust that run an annual programme of national and regional awards supporting women in Aotearoa New Zealand to pursue education and research. The awards support a diversity of women, circumstances, study and research.
There are a range of awards on offer in 2019 including:
- The AWIS STEM Award
- The Margaret L Bailey Science Award to support post-doctoral research
- Research awards supporting research that benefits women and girls in New Zealand
- Second-Chance Education awards.
